the walk back was long,
a numbing vacuum,
maybe it left a hole in my heart,
i couldn't tell, who i missed more,
the tulips,
or, the hands that held them.
the moon was an angel,
tossed up frames
from many moons back,
from many moons back,
i couldn't take my eyes off then,
can't say which was more alluring,
the tranquil moon,
or, the eyes that tossed her to mine?
be it the tulips of the spring,
or the shimmering moon by the dark,
gulmarg was just divine,
the unspoilt canvas,
the pristine nature
the pristine nature
heady as the best wine,
i can't reason why i crave to be back
was it the chill, and the pine,
the longing for warmth,
or, for my lady luck to shine!
