I May Be Down Today

i may be down today,

a bit lonely,

yes, it hurts

to bide time

when in endless wait,

drift through the lanes, 

waiting for my stars to shine,

but deep somewhere in me

i know it firm,
and I smile at it

it wasn't always this,

won't forever be!
